Synopsis
David is discharged from the army after serving for 27 years. He returns to his home and family after being distanced from them for years, and tries to find himself in his new civilian life. He believes that, like his friends who retired from the military before him, he too will find his way in some managerial position in the private sector, but he has difficulties adapting to the pace of the “new Israel”, a competitive culture obsessed with success and money.

The dysfunctional life of a Jerusalem family is marvellously portrayed against the backdrop of a dysfunctional society. The film is not as dour as it sounds, with flashes of irony peppered throughout, and some unexpected lyricism. It's another winner from writer/director Eran Kolirin (The Band's Visit).

לפעמים הסרט היה יותר מדי, רציתי לראות את חלקם שמחים(אפילו לא מאושרים) אבל גם הידיעה שאני לא הולכת לראות את מה שאני רוצה גרמה לי לכאב ולהסתכלות אחרת על הסרט מאשר אוסף רגעים מבאסים. הכל היה כל כך מותח ומכאיב ועדין וקשה לצפייה ועסק בתמות שלא ראיתי הרבה בקולנוע אבל כן צפיתי כבר סרטים אחרים של ערן -
