How to watch the new 2024 movie, 'The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim'
Can't get enough of Middle-earth? Movie-goers in 2024 will soon have another glimpse of it when "The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim" hits movie theaters in December.
The animated film by Warner Bros. Pictures is set 183 years before the events chronicled in the original trilogy,according to a movie synopsis, and tells the story of the Rohirrim people after they're attacked and forced to make a daring last stand in a fortress that will later come to be known as Helm’s Deep.
"Finding herself in an increasingly desperate situation, Héra, the daughter of Helm, must summon the will to lead the resistance against a deadly enemy intent on their total destruction," according to the synopsis.

The movie, "TheLord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim," is set for theatrical release onDecember 13.
